ABOUT US We are vulnerable in our society, the poor and disabled people have a different kind of attitude a good job. When properly trained, if they do not, they will become a burden on society and can contribute too much of the country. Developed and developing countries, the government took responsibility for the training and rehabilitation of these people. Our government has taken a lot of this kind, but it is not enough compared to the needs. Bangladesh and many people in many other countries, social worker, education, level of entrepreneurial efforts, the disabled and disadvantaged people and their extended handmade and are being conducted by many organizations. What is AUTISM or DISABILITY? Autism is a kind of disability usually identified in children at the age between 18 months to 3 years. The affected children suffer from mainly 3 difficulties. These are: Verbal or non verbal communication, Impaired social inter-action and limited activities / interest with rigidity in thinking and repetitive behavior. These children may improve and live a close to normal life if appropriate intervention and proper training is imparted in time. Though we have many organizations in Bangladesh working with various fields of disability but there is hardly any quality institute developed exclusively for the autistic children. Who are vulnerable child? A vulnerable child is defined as being under the age of 18 years and currently at high risk of lacking adequate care and protection. Accordingly, all children are vulnerable by nature compared to adults, but some are more critically vulnerable than others. “Child vulnerability is a downward spiral where each shock leads to a new level of vulnerability, and each new level opens up for a host of new risks. In other words, the probability of a child experiencing a negative outcome rises with each shock.” Our Motivation At this backdrop, we, the parents of some autistic children started the ‘Matrichaya Disability Social Welfare Organization’.
